A pioneer in the field of Yoga Therapeutics, Khadi Madama began her career as a Yoga Instructor in 1969 and is a Registered Yoga Instructor with the Yoga Alliance, logging over 10,000 teaching hours throughout her career. She holds a certificate in Tian Tao Qi Gong and is an affiliate instructor of the National Chinese Qi Gong Institute. Madama has developed specialized therapeutic Yoga Stress Management programs for esteemed health care institutions. She hosted Yours Truly, Yoga from 1996-2000, and India has recently recognized her with the esteemed title “Acharya Sri” with the Jewel of India Award for the longevity of her teaching career and spreading the philosophy of Yoga. Currently she is a Wellness Consultant and Complimentary Therapy program designer for Genesis Rehabilitation and Health Care Services for Tai Chi and Yoga/Qi Gong, and at the Ocean County Massage Institute, she taught “Six Yoga Principles for Massage Therapists”, a state board approved CEU course.
